Contemporary Standing Shelf For Living Room Or Studio

Long curved shelves sweep across the wall, broken by rounded, irregular openings that frame a stack of books here and a single vase there. The Contemporary Standing Shelf For Living Room Or Studio is open storage with a sculptural streak. It brings warmth and movement wherever it stands.

Form

The elongated silhouette is built from curved shelves, asymmetrical openings and smoothly joined supports. Shelves of varying length create a layered display, and the broad contours make the piece feel like part of the architecture.

Material and Build

• Solid wood blocks: joined together for a substantial structure.
• Arrives in parts: separated for safe shipping, so assembly is needed on arrival.
• Natural finish: a gentle treatment that keeps the raw, tactile feel of the wood.
• Open compartments: room for books, ceramics, art and collected objects.

Where to Use It

It makes a statement in a living room and works hard in a creative studio. It also suits a home library, a roomy office, a lounge or a hotel reception.

Each shelf is handcrafted to order from natural wood, so grain, texture and color will vary. No two are ever exactly the same.
